Our Commitment to Reintegration
At Unity Foundation, our mission is to support our Vancouver, WA community through practical help today and pathways to stability tomorrow. Right now, our primary focus is providing essential supplies and practical support to unhoused neighbors in Vancouver, WA through local partners. As funding and partnerships grow, we plan to expand into workforce development and reentry opportunities for formerly incarcerated individuals.
Unity Foundation’s long-term vision is to bring the community and formerly incarcerated individuals together in unity through shared learning and mentorship. In the future, we plan to offer sewing, upholstery, and embroidery classes to the public for a fee, welcoming anyone interested in learning these valuable skills. For individuals with a felony background, these same trades would be taught through paid, on-the-job learning opportunities, providing both employment and mentorship.
Importantly, the fees paid by public participants would be treated as mission support that helps fund paid job training, purchase materials, expand programs, and provide additional resources for justice-involved individuals working to rebuild their lives. By taking a class, you’re not just learning a new skill—you’re helping create second chances and a stronger, more inclusive community.

Volunteers with donated supplies
Volunteers assembling hygiene kits
A wider indoor scene in a community-space setting showing a small group of volunteers near stacked boxes and donated items (blankets/supplies). The emphasis is on the organized donation effort and teamwork, with a clean, uplifting tone.
A close-up tabletop scene with volunteers’ hands sorting and packing hygiene items (like socks, toothbrushes, wipes, and small bags). Bright, clean indoor lighting with a shallow depth of field so the supplies and hands are the focus.
